Examinations and Attendance Policy
All courses listed in this program brochure include examinations. Participants will write an examination on the last day of class. In addition, participants are required to attend 100% of the classes (including Wednesday afternoon attendance at the tradeshow) in order to write the exam. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the examinations or attendance policy, please contact the ORFA office at 416-426-7062 or info@orfa.com.

Personal Protective Equipment Policy
Registrants may be required to supply and/or wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in some training courses. Adequate safety foot wear (CSA Approved  Green Patch) if so required must be brought and worn by the participant. This footwear must be in good condition and suitable for the learning environment. Other PPE may be made available to participants by the ORFA course instructors to those who take an active role in demonstrating the use of a piece of equipment or who must take part in equipment use as part of the learning experience. All participants are expected to identify any concern in their personal lack of ability to demonstrate or use any piece of equipment if called upon to do so. Further, the ORFA instructors or sub-instructors reserve the right to limit participation of any participant for the lack of or improper use of any piece of equipment or PPE.

Drugs and Alcohol Policy
No participant is to use any piece of equipment or attend any classes if under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. The ORFA has a zero tolerance policy on such activities. Any person who breaches this policy may be asked to immediately leave the program. Participants who are under the care of a medical professional must identify their condition in confidence to the primary ORFA course instructor.

Facility Tour Policy
Some courses undertake a visit to a working facility to observe operational equipment or activities. Travel to such areas may be coordinated by the course instructor and failing to meet at the predetermined location and time will require the participant find his/her own way to the site, at his/her own cost. Failing to attend may reflect on the set attendance requirement. Further, participants are reminded that such facility areas can be noisy, with equipment that may start or stop at anytime, and that various noxious gases may be emitted on-site. It is the responsibility of each participant to observe a heightened sense of safety in such environments. Pranks, horseplay or other acts of unprofessional conduct will not be tolerated. Any person who breaches this policy may be asked to immediately leave the program.
